Just because it's softer doesn't mean it's lost its ambition though, with songs like I've Had Enough and Name and Address turning in some rock and roll chops and Morse Moose and the Grey Goose sounding like the band were trying to make some epic song a la Nineteen Hundred Eighty Five. Paul's knack for writing pop melodies is still here though, even when he's using a dead simple arrangement like on I'm Carrying, which ended up being his fellow Fab George Harrison's favorite song on the record. You can definitely hear the energy of the boat on some of the acoustic tracks, which often delve into old sea shanty territory. After going through another severe lineup change with Wings, the band was down to Paul, Linda, and Denny Laine to create their next full length, coming up with one of the softest offerings of the band's career.
